The first Davison we have only knowledge of is John Davidson.
He is Scotch-Irish descent. His wife was Elizabeth Wilson. John Davison had three daughters -
- Jane Caldwell ; Sallie McMillen and Mrs. Stear. He also had one son -- Isaac DAVISON.
ISAAC DAVISON was born May 1, 1782 or 1785. (One record says 1782 and another 1785)
He came to the United States when about four years old, probably 1789. He died June 1, 1849.
He married Jane Kinney, born July 20, 1780 and died on March 8, 1845. (Second wife was
Mrs. Armstrong Jack) Jane Kinney had four sisters; Betsy Alison, Nancy Coulter, Margaret
Scott and Fannie McManigal.

April 1916 and died 24 Oct 1994. They are both buried
at Sunville, Venango County, Pennsylvania. They had
3 daughters - 2 living into adulthood with families.
ii. Margaret Elma Bumpus, b. July 14, 1921, Bradleytown,
Venango Co., Pa. d. Aug. 17, 1997, Butler, Pa. She
is buried at Slippery Rock, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
Married James Harold McBride, Nov. 3, 1944. He was born
10 September 1923. They had 5 children all living into
adulthood with families.

They are both buried at Ashton, Venango Co., Pennsylvania.
Thay had 4 children living into adulthood with families.
