     Thomas McBride and his wife Eliza Winans &

near New Castle, Pennsylvania.

     Edward A. McBride is a Nephew of Thomas &
Eliza.  Edward A. is a son of Samuel J. and Mary

Cotton McBride. Samuel J. is a younger brother

of Thomas.

Henry C. McBride

     Thomas McBride was Mayor of New Castle, Pennsylvania, just prior to the War of the Rebellion.

He served in the Union Army with the rank of Major in the Paymaster Department.
     Later, he resided for some years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he died.
